Meet Dr. Elizabeth Turner,

Sleep and Airway Health Specialist

My roots are in dentistry, and my passion is for proper airway development.

Dr. Elizabeth Turner

My dedication to airway development and lip and tongue-ties began with my own son. I was able to watch him blossom and thrive immediately following his own simple tongue-tie procedure. Since then, I’ve been fascinated with the connection between the mouth and the rest of the body.

I’ve been a dentist for over ten years, and throughout that time, I’ve seen a lot of patients. Time after time, I’ve had the opportunity to see the connections between each patient’s airway development and their overall health. It’s interesting to me how simple changes to our breathing patterns can help remove obstructions and lead to better health overall.

Driving awareness of airway-centered disorders and addressing the causes of them is exactly why we started Bloom - Center for Sleep and Airway Health, and why I wanted to become a sleep and airway health specialist. We want to do all that we can to help you smile, breathe, and live your healthiest life.

Big western skies and clear mountain air is what brought this sleep and airway health specialist to Colorado.

I grew up in a small town on the coast of Maine and I completed my dental education in Boston at Tufts University. My love for the mountains and the big Western skies grew after completing post-graduate studies at the University of New Mexico. Since then, I’ve completed hundreds of hours of continuing education connecting the mouth to the whole body. This includes everything from nutrition to sleep and breathing! I strive to be on the cutting edge with techniques, technology, and the latest evidence-based research.

Along with sleep and tongue-tie expertise, I am a certified Invisalign provider and hold a certificate from the American Board of Laser Surgery for Laser Dentistry. I have additional training in cosmetic dentistry, root canals (endodontics), dental implant placement and restoration, family dentistry, Invisalign, occlusion and TMD, soft tissue grafting, oral surgery, and dental sleep medicine.

When I’m not meeting with my sleep and airway patients or at my Lakewood, CO dental office, you’ll likely find me out running the trails and training for marathons, drinking coffee (try Hello coffee down the block), baking healthy (and unhealthy) treats, golfing, listening to live music, and spending time dressing my babies and dog in ridiculous costumes.

It is my privilege to serve my patients with respect, empathy, and compassion.

I cannot wait to meet you!
